Driving Reimbursement: Should you opt to drive instead of fly, the University will pay for the lower priced option per the UW Travel Reimbursement Policy. You will need to provide a cost comparison which includes driving distance (mileage – may use MapQuest or Google Maps) and airfare costs through Concur. The reimbursable rate per policy is $.54/mile IF the option to drive is less expensive than the cost of airfare. Additional information and documentation may be needed for reimbursement. Please contact Coreen Marklein (email@example.com) to obtain more information regarding documentation.
Taxi Reimbursement: The Best Western Plus InnTowner & The Highland Club may provide shuttle service to/from the airport. If the shuttle is unavailable, the UW Carbone Cancer will pay towards the cost of a taxi/shuttle service per the UW Travel Reimbursement Policy. This hotel offers a free shuttle service to/from the hotel to the consortium venue; the UW Health Sciences Learning Center (HSLC).
